Basil Seed Slime, Toothed, and Hand Shaped Leaves

It's only Wednesday, but already the children want to tell you what we have been doing in R14.

Yesterday we experimented with the Basil seed slime that was made by one of our mums. Today we went on a leaf hunt for toothed leaves, and hand shaped leaves. Here are some pictures of the fun we have been having!

On Wednesday we went on a leaf hunt. I got a wet hand shaped leaf on the hill. Mrs Marsh stuck them on the window so we can feel them. I feel shy! (R.L)

In room 14 we went to a leaf hunt. All the people in room 14 found a lot of leaves in the school, and we went on the field. (J.G.M)

Today R14 went on a leaf hunt and we found all kinds of leaves. I found an oval yellow leaf. (N.S)

Yesterday on Tuesday we played with gooey slime. It was fun! I loved it! I put it in the awesome bowl. (F.F)

Basil seed slime is gooey and brown. It is also sticky and it is made with water and slime. (M.L)

Today room 14 went for a leaf hunt. We found spiky leaves and beautiful leaves and shiny leaves. (G.S)

On Wednesday we went on a leaf hunt and I found a spiky leaf. The spiky thing looked like some teeth. I touched the spiky bit but it was not sharp. (E.N)

Today we had a leaf hunt. I found a spiky leaf. Then we took the leaves back to the classroom. I glued a leaf into my reading book. (A.H)

Today we went hunting to look for leaves so we can look at toothed leaves and normal leaves. Yesterday we looked at the slime. It was cold for me. (C.A)
